Scope and Coverage

This monthly virtual journal contains articles that have appeared in one of the participating source journals and that fall within a range of topical areas involving atomic quantum fluids. These topical areas include Bose-Einstein condensates, degenerate Fermi gases, ultracold atoms in optical lattices, multi-component systems, topological excitations, collisional properties, atom optics, experimental and theoretical developments, and aspects of non-degenerate many-body physics that should be of interest to researchers in the field of atomic quantum fluids.

A description of the features of the Virtual Journals may be found in the Online Help page for this virtual journal.

Article Submissions to Source Journals

Original manuscript submissions to the Virtual Journal of Atomic Quantum Fluids are not accepted; however, your article may appear in this virtual journal if it falls within the scope of the virtual journal and is published in one of the participating source journals. If you wish to submit a manuscript to one of the source journals, please follow the link to the list of participating source journals, where you may link to the home pages of the source journals; information on manuscript preparation and submission may be found there.

How to Cite Articles Appearing in the Virtual Journal

When citing an article that has appeared in this virtual journal, the source journal article should be cited -- the virtual journal itself should not be cited. For a given virtual journal article, the appropriate full citation for the source journal article appears in the virtual journal table of contents entry and in the virtual journal abstract for that article. The article citation information is also found in the source journal resources to which the virtual journal points, including the full text of the article.
